Since Cathay Organization is celebrating its 78th anniversary this year, all participating filmmakers in this year’s competition were required to produce their 78-seconder films in 78 hours with ‘Tomorrow’ as the theme.

The panel of judges, composed of respected and admired members of the local film industry, expressed that the competition has really recognized an emerging trend in the country’s aspiring filmmakers.

The top three winning short films, as well as the Viewers’ Choice, were also awarded. Ayam Man was awarded as the Best Motion Picture, Reality as the 1st runner-up, Pause for Tomorrow as the 2nd runner-up, and Child as the Viewers’ Choice.
